Description
- A 8.4% Belgian abbey tripel.
- Made by Bosteels brewery that dates back to 1791.
- Perfect for food pairing.
Tripel Karmeliet has been made for seven generations with a recipe that dates back to 1679.
Made with three grains – wheat, oats, and barley – this golden-coloured Belgian abbey tripel ale is a perfect balance of bitterness and malty sweetness. This beer has bold aromas and flavours of bananas, a subtle wheat spiciness, vanilla, bubblegum, orange, and florals. With a typically dry finish and a smooth medium-light body, the Karmeliet Tripel has a pleasantly bright and lingering character.
This family-owned brewery in the heart of Flanders has been brewing without interruption in the same location ever since, and is currently under the leadership of the 7th generation, Mr. Antoine Bosteels.
Beer Colour
Pale ales, American pale ales and Belgian strong pales, are all often described as deep gold and has a malty body.
